Narrative of experience
Después de impartir las clases de anatomía y fisiología del sistema circulatorio, se le informó a los alumnos de que el laboratorio se conduciría de manera virtual, así evitando el uso de material punsocortante, o de salpicadura y contaminación por material peligroso, biologico o infeccioso.
Se generó un horario estricto para seguir, donde cada equipo contaría con 12 minutos para realizar las 4 "disecciones" virtuales, identificando las cavidades del corazón y sus estructuras de soporte. Los alumnos asistieron a la sala de realidad virtual, y, tras una breve introducción, iniciaron la exploración de anatomía 3D del corazón y el sistema circulatorio proximal.
Pudieron identificar de manera totalmente inmersiva las estructuras que se les solicitaba observar y separar, par apoder tomar una imagen que serviría como evidencia. Muchos estudiantes se quedaron un poco más del tiempo esperado, pues se mostraban interesados en seguir explorando el cuerpo humano.
Pudiera confirmar que esta actividad impulsó el entendimiento acerca del las estructuras del corazón, su ubicación, y cómo ésta se liga a la función que desarrollan.
